This project consisted of developing a modern, intuitive and functional mobile application, designed to engage the user at every stage of the experience. The ultimate goal was to facilitate and encourage the purchase of furniture from the renowned LASKASAS brand, translating its elegance and sophistication into the digital universe.

This project was developed in an academic context and consists of developing an application proposal for the LASKASAS brand. It is important to highlight that there was no direct contact with LASKASAS during the process, and all images used belong exclusively to the brand, being used only for illustrative purposes.

Context

Laskasas is a Portuguese furniture and interior design brand, recognized for its personalized approach and meticulous attention to detail. In a context where mobile has become the main means of research and inspiration in interior design, the challenge arose of reimagining the brand's digital experience. The goal was to develop an app that combined intuitive navigation, strong visual appeal, and an identity that was true to the Laskasas universe — creating an engaging experience that kept the user engaged from start to finish.

Solution

Taking this context into account, the application was developed with features that enhance the user experience, including the possibility of viewing products in Augmented Reality, customizing furniture to the user's taste and creating their own interior design directly in the application.

Onboarding Flow

Welcome to the LASKASAS onboarding screens, where were prepared the scenario that presents all the funcionalities provided by the application. I believe a captivating onboarding experience is essential to introducing users to the world of LASKASAS, ensuring they feel excited and informed from the moment they join the app.

Home

On the home page, it is possible to see a slideshow that presents the most important features of the app, has the cart, notifications and presents a first view of the inspirations with their respective divisions.

Inspiration

The inspiration page allows the user to view different ideas for each room in the house. By selecting a room and a specific inspiration, the user will have access to detailed information about the products presented, as well as additional descriptions about the space. Additionally, the user can save favorite inspirations for future reference.

Product details

On the product page, users can view detailed images of the item, personalize it to their preferences, add it to their wish list, and explore the augmented reality viewing option for a more immersive experience. Additionally, complete product information is provided, including dimensions, personalization options, as well as details on delivery and return processes.

Personalization

The user has the possibility to personalize the product, including options such as wood, marble, metals and other details that allow the product to be adapted to their individual preferences and needs. This feature ensures a more personalized and enhanced experience with the desired style.

Augmented Reality

The user has access to the augmented reality feature, which allows them to scan the desired room in the house and virtually add furniture to visualize how it would look in the real space. Additionally, the user can swap out the added products for others, trying out different options and styles to make more informed decisions that are aligned with the desired design.

Projects

The projects section offers three types of solutions: personalized project, online project and in-person project. Below, each one will be detailed to clarify its features and advantages.

In personalized project, the user has the freedom to design the environment of their dreams according to their tastes and needs, using augmented reality. Once the design sketch is complete, the user has the ability to send it directly to the team for professional review or recommendation, as well as save the design to their projects section for future revisions.

In the online project, the user starts by filling out a detailed questionnaire, where he can specify his preferences, requirements and desired style. If the user wish, he also have the option to attach an inspiration moodboard to better communicate his vision.

After submission, all information provided in the questionnaire will be forwarded to the LASKASAS team, who will use this data to create a personalized draft of the project, providing a solution adapted to the user's tastes and needs.

In the in-person project, the user will follow the same process as the online project, filling out a questionnaire to detail preferences, needs and, optionally, add a moodboard of inspirations. However, in this case, the user must select a preferred store so that the responses are forwarded directly to that store's team.

After submission, the user will be contacted by the local team to schedule a face-to-face meeting, where all the details and stages of the project will be discussed and developed in person, providing direct and personalized monitoring.
